Ich komme aus Portugal, Spanien, Italien und Südfrankreich und wachse an bis zu 30-Meter hohen Bäumen. Meine Kerne haben einen aromatisch-würzigen Geschmack.
Die Ernte ist gefährlich und man macht das nur alle 3 Jahre.
Ich bin eine hochwertige Frucht und man kennt mich v.a. aus dem italienischen Pesto und vielen feinen Gerichten.
Je viens du Portugal, d’Espagne, d’Italie et du sud de la France, et je pousse sur des arbres pouvant atteindre 30 mètres de haut. Mes graines ont un goût aromatique et épicé.
La récolte est dangereuse et n’a lieu que tous les trois ans.
Je suis un fruit de grande qualité et on me connaît surtout pour le pesto italien et de nombreux plats raffinés.
I come from Portugal, Spain, Italy and the south of France, and grow on trees that can reach up to 30 metres in height. My seeds have an aromatic, spicy flavour.
Harvesting me is dangerous, and it’s only done every three years.
I am a high-quality fruit and am best known for my use in Italian pesto and many fine dishes.
