1893 . Chicago USA . World Exhibition . Brienz wood sculptors exhibited. Just imagine how arduous the journey from Brienz to Chicago must have been back then. And with a richly carved buffet from the Wirth brothers in the luggage. At the time, it was labelled with a price tag of CHF 4000, which would be around US $ 78,000 today ...
