When works of art leave the workshop and present themselves on the quay, then it is *Woodcarvers’ Symposium* time! The 10th edition of the fascinating meeting of artists from near and far together with students of the Woodcarving School took place in July 2022.
The works are presented directly on the shore of Lake Brienz, on the quay, right in the open. In this way they come to life and proudly present themselves to the admiring symposium visitors. Whether the figures are looking out over the lake in a hammock, or portrayed as large, small, thick, thin, laughing, crying humans, or animals in a graceful pose or sculptures with light, water or elements of everyday life – there are hardly any limits to the imagination.
It is time
When Oberland mountains unite with the crystal-clear lake and the delightful wooden sculptures in a harmonious picture, then it is symposium time. With a varied and diverse and entertainment programme.
