Public transport
Travel comfortably by public transport, Brienz has the best connections. Do you prefer the train? Good choice, you can find the timetable here. The train station is only a few minutes’ walk away. There are also bus connections.
Do you prefer a leisurely boat trip? There are even romantic steamboats on Lake Brienz… The museum is just a few minutes’ walk from the Brienz boat station with attractive connections to Interlaken.
Our tip
A spacious, traffic-free lakeside promenade – adjacent to several car parks on the main road – stretches from the railway station to the terrace of Hotel Löwen at the western end of the village. A walk along this beautifully landscaped area to the museum is a relaxing experience.
