La fondation<\/h3>\n

Un grand nombre de leurs propri\u00e9taires actuels poss\u00e8dent encore de vastes connaissances sur l’origine de ces tr\u00e9sors et sur l’histoire de la sculpture sur bois . Mais les changements de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration et les circonstances temporelles menacent ces \u0153uvres, souvent importantes d’un point de vue artistique, tout comme le savoir qui leur est li\u00e9. Les demandes adress\u00e9es \u00e0 l’\u00c9cole de la Sculpture sur Bois de Brienz et aux entreprises locales de ce secteur montrent que nombre de ces \u0153uvres perdent alors de leur importance et que l’on demande \u00e0 les r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer. Les craintes de voir ces biens culturels tomber dans l’oubli ne sont donc pas infond\u00e9es. Avec elles, c’est aussi une partie de l’histoire de la sculpture sur bois de Brienz qui dispara\u00eet. La route vers le mus\u00e9e<\/h3>\n

Cette entreprise ne s’est pas av\u00e9r\u00e9e simple. En 2004, la fondation a proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 une \u00e9valuation interne de la situation dans le but d’intensifier ses activit\u00e9s. La cr\u00e9ation d’un mus\u00e9e de la sculpture sur bois est devenue une priorit\u00e9. Selon la devise \u00abseule la pers\u00e9v\u00e9rance apporte le succ\u00e8s\u00a0\u00bb, la recherche d’un site pour le mus\u00e9e et l’examen du financement ont commenc\u00e9. Diff\u00e9rentes options ont alors \u00e9t\u00e9 envisag\u00e9es – entre autres un nouveau b\u00e2timent sur le Pfrundmatte, \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 imm\u00e9diate de l’\u00c9cole de la Sculpture sur Bois de Brienz ou dans l’\u00e9cole elle-m\u00eame. Divers sites du Mus\u00e9e de Plein Air de Ballenberg ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 envisag\u00e9s. Ces recherches n’ont pas abouti. Le d\u00e9veloppement de l’id\u00e9e de mus\u00e9e n’avait cependant rien perdu de son dynamisme. Au contraire, l’id\u00e9e de mus\u00e9e a suscit\u00e9 beaucoup de sympathie et de bienveillance. Le comit\u00e9 directeur a abandonn\u00e9 toutes les possibilit\u00e9s examin\u00e9es jusqu’alors et a cherch\u00e9 un autre site. Offre de l\u2019entreprise Jobin SA<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=\u00a0\u00bb3\/4″][vc_row_inner row_type=\u00a0\u00bbrow\u00a0\u00bb type=\u00a0\u00bbfull_width\u00a0\u00bb text_align=\u00a0\u00bbleft\u00a0\u00bb css_animation=\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0\u00bb][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]Au printemps 2008, Flavius Jobin, CEO de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Jobin SA, a propos\u00e9 au comit\u00e9 directeur une collaboration dans le domaine des mus\u00e9es. Il a offert \u00e0 la fondation les locaux de son mus\u00e9e et sa collection \u00e0 titre d’exposition suppl\u00e9mentaire. Cette offre a suscit\u00e9 diff\u00e9rentes discussions. On a bien accueilli une collaboration, mais pas une fusion avec le mus\u00e9e existant de Jobin SA. Le comit\u00e9 directeur a toutefois \u00e9t\u00e9 convaincu par l’opportunit\u00e9 d’installer le mus\u00e9e de la fondation au centre de Brienz, et de surcro\u00eet dans un b\u00e2timent class\u00e9 monument historique. L’offre a \u00e9t\u00e9 accept\u00e9e et une collaboration judicieuse mais diff\u00e9renci\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 recherch\u00e9e. Sur le mod\u00e8le du \u00ab\u00a0Public Private Partnership (PPP)\u00a0\u00bb, une mobilisation de capitaux priv\u00e9s et de connaissances sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es pour l’accomplissement de t\u00e2ches publiques, la Jobin SA et la fondation ont mis en commun leurs forces et leurs connaissances sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es pour cr\u00e9er le Mus\u00e9e Suisse de la Sculpture sur Bois.
